Low density high strength cement slurry system
Summary：The low density and high strength cement slurry is mainly based on the principle of particle gradation, and the external admixture and admixture are preferred. The low density cement slurry with a density of 1.10-1.70g/cm3 can be prepared according to the requirements. The cement slurry has excellent comprehensive performance, low crushing rate, low free liquid, easy control of water loss, short transition time, uniform and dense cement stone without shrinkage, and high top strength.

Since the first use of low-density cement slurry in the 177.8mm suspension (1851.14-4817.47m) cementing of Well Maoba 3 on February 15, 2005, 71 wells have been cemented with low-density cement slurry. The qualified rate was 97.18%, and the excellent rate was 38.03%.
The lowest density of low-density cement slurry that has been used is 1.35g/cm3 of 40 square collar cement slurry with 139.7mm casing suspension (1856.72-4541.98m) of well Jian 35-6 constructed in Jiannan structure of Jianghan oilfield on August 30, 2012.

Recently, Sinopec’s “Deep-Earth Engineering–Sichuan–Chongqing Natural Gas Base” has once again reported a significant breakthrough. The Yonghong-1 well, a key ultra-deep tight sandstone exploration well deployed by Sinopec Exploration Branch in Bazhong City, Sichuan Province, has successfully tested high-producing gas flows, marking an important new stratigraphic breakthrough in the Jurassic system of the Sichuan Basin. This discovery confirms the favorable exploration and development potential of the Jurassic tight sandstones in the Bazhong area, suggesting the prospect of establishing a new resource base for increasing reserves and boosting production in the Sichuan Basin.
